Rovers and MGs also taken for de-pollution
Disposal of old unwanted cars now needs to be carried out in accordance with the End of Life Vehicles Regulations which brought in European standards for vehicle recycling. Recyclers such as Hawkinge Vehicle Services who recycle end of life vehicles (ELVs) will have installed proper storage and treatment systems for processing vehicles. De-pollution equipment is used to remove oils, fuels and other hazardous materials safely. A certificate of destruction (C.O.D.) is issued
